Bensdorp Cappuccino
Bensdorp Cappuccino - 180 years of Dutch passion
The cocoa and chocolate factory founded by Gerardus Bernadus Bensdorf still produces according to traditional recipes. Although the founder has devoted a significant portion of his profits to research, the manufacturing process and original recipes have hardly changed. The manufacturer obviously already had a good hand when it came to cocoa production.
The chocolate factory known to this day was built in Amsterdam in 1840. Today, Bensdorp is in the hands of Barry Callebaut, which also sells Van Houten and Caprimo worldwide. Van Houten and Caprimo are also among the world's popular cappuccino products, which are used internationally for dispensers and machines.
Bensdorp cocoa and coffee combined
Bensdorp cocoa-based instant cappuccino
From 180 years of experience, with Dutch passion for cocoa and coffee, a masterful top product has emerged, consisting of first-class coffee powder and instant coffee. Of course, the strict choice of cultivation sites for the required cocoa plants is part of the basic tenor of the manufacturer. Only growing areas that guarantee the best conditions for perfect cocoa enjoyment are selected.
Only premium beans are used for the production of cocoa and coffee. Only espresso beans that are meticulously controlled to the highest standards reach the factory. The recipe for the perfect colour, consistency and taste is a true composition of three different cocoa beans. The following cocoa beans were once chosen for the Bensdorp Cappuccini Chocolate:
- Cocoa beans from Ghana have a complex, distinct chocolate flavor.
- Cocoa beans from Cameroon ensure the intensive color nuances.
- Cocoa beans from the legendary Ivory Coast. This robust variety fixes and intensifies the cocoa taste.
Bensdorp chocolate in coffee: coffee and cocoa lovers are delighted
Due to the proportion of selected coffee beans, which makes up the instant coffee proportion of approx. 8 - 9%, the cappuccino also contains a small proportion of caffeine. Of course, this chocolate cappuccino is not suitable for all age groups. Of course, this is only a small amount of caffeine. So it won't wake up tired spirits like our delicious Lavazza and Segafredo coffee blends.
Nevertheless, the delicious cocoa taste is a morning sweetener for many coffee connoisseurs. The cappuccino is made using the classic spray-dry process. As a result, the espresso beans and cocoa beans used for this have better pourability. They are also economical and ideal for use in vending machines.
The proportion of finely processed cocoa beans accounts for about 6 - 7%. For the normal dosage of a cappuccino with a capacity of 200 ml, Bensdorp recommends approx. 24 grams of Bensdorp Cappuccino Choco powder. I wish you a delicious cappuccino.
